Yet, the background, the instruments and the musical language remains an uncharted territory, for most people, despite the increasing interest in Arabic creativity among artists, musicians and the public in general. Salon Joussour will organize six events in the Korzo theater in Hague, ranging between concerts, workshops and lectures. The aim is to create a kaleidoscope of music, streaming form Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, Turkey and Morocco. And, to craft a bridge bonding Arabic and European ingenuity, through connecting renowned Dutch musicians with guest from the Arab world.
The first three salons will feature the Palestinian Ud player Ahmad Al Khatib,  Riq player Youssef Hbeisch, and Lebanese singer Rima Khcheich.
